What we found under the hood.

Before writing this proposal, we ran a full technical crawl of waterworksmd.com. These are real findings from your live site as of July 2026 — every one of them is fixed as part of this project.

Your spec document says it best: "Make sure there is text that AI can crawl — current images are not." Our crawl confirms it — and found several deeper issues quietly costing you rankings.

Search & Indexing

High Impact Two competing pages per location Both /annapolis-car-wash/ and /location/annapolis/ are live, indexed, and each claims to be canonical — for all five locations. Google splits your ranking power between them. The location sitemap hasn't updated since 2021.
High Impact Test & junk pages in your sitemap /test/, /page-testing/, /404-2/, thank-you pages, cancellation forms, and five near-duplicate membership forms are all being submitted to Google as real content.
Medium Homepage title omits your brand — and Annapolis It reads "Car Wash | Elkridge MD | Catonsville | Crofton | Arbutus." No "Water Works," and your newest location is missing entirely.
